Ma - the experimental outfit led by Tom Challenger -extensively recorded their performances in 2011 and 2012; 'Live' is a collection of live material from that period.

Tom Challenger (Brass Mask, Fofoulah), Matt Calvert (Three Trapped Tigers) and Dave Smith (Robert Plant) are heard here both as a trio, and as a sextet with added Percussion and Organ.
Drawing on the sound established with their lauded 2011 album 'The Last', here they combine to further the depth of the sonic imagery they create.

Synthesisers, processed percussion and spontaneous interplay all merge together to create a multi-layered horizon of LoFi drones; intense, jagged rhythms and contrasting colours. 'Live' is a fascinating chapter in Ma's history.
